Dr. Emma Cao

Dr Emma Cao graduated from James Cook University, Queensland in 2016.

Having spent most of her life in Northern Australia, growing up in Darwin and studying in Townsville, she decided to move to Adelaide after graduating for a change of pace in 2017.

Dr Cao has worked at Modbury Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital for 3 years with exposure to obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics (including paediatric emergency) and geriatric medicine.

She has gained training in Paediatrics and Women’s Health through the Sydney Children’s Health Program and has also achieved the RANZCOG Certificate of Women’s Health. She is accredited to provide GP Obstetric Shared Care.

Dr Cao has worked in community General Practice since 2021 and unsurprisingly, her specialist interests are in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, and Antenatal care.

Outside of work, Dr Cao enjoys a variety of hobbies, traveling and spending time with family.
