Flu Vaccinations
A Flu vaccination is recommended every year for any person 6 months of age and over, who would like to reduce the likelihood of becoming ill with influenza. Autumn is the best time to vaccinate but they can be given anytime during the flu season as long as vaccine is still available. Protection from flu usually takes up to two weeks.
Due to the potential severity of the influenza season, overlayed with increased COVID cases over the winter period, the South Australian Government will provide access to free influenza vaccinations to the general South Australian community from 29 May 2022 until 30 June 2022.
Stirling Central Health Clinic is offering Flu Vaccination Clinics but please be patient with our staff as we implement processes to cater for the influx which will occur now that Flu Vaccinations are free for the community.
Book your appointment here or by phoning the clinic on 8370 9777.
