Our local 36 bed private hospital is within walking distance of the clinic and offers visiting surgical specialists, specialist physicians and allied health services. There is no requirement for GPs to commit to hospital admissions, nursing home visits or after hours, but the opportunities exist should GPs choose to pursue them. Full time or part time, the choice is yours.

The beautiful township of Stirling is set in the Adelaide Hills, only 20 minutes from the city centre. Many of the lovely old homes in Stirling were built in the 1800’s by Adelaide’s wealthier residents as summer houses to escape the heat of the Adelaide plains. The older residences of Stirling are well known for their magnificent English gardens and the tree lined main street is particularly beautiful in autumn as the leaves explode into colour.

Stirling rambles into the nearby townships of Aldgate and Crafers, all of which have a distinct village feel. The Adelaide Hills are well known for boutique wineries, country markets, scenic drives, the Tour Down Under and great pubs and restaurants. There are many excellent schools and childcare facilities in the local area and Adelaide’s finest private schools are just a short bus ride away. Adelaide and Flinders University are also very accessible by bus or car. Working in Stirling, you can live in the city, within a village community or on a rural property; the choice is yours!
